you we install

We will assist you in selecting materials based on your priorities, durability, appearance, price, or suitability for households with children or pets. We are happy to provide advice before you make any purchase.

    Vinyl flooring planks (LVP/SPC)

    Most resistant to water and mechanical damage. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms and flats with children or pets. Modern decors faithfully imitate wood. The SPC core is dimensionally stable.

    Floating laminate

    Economically accessible option with faithful wood decor. Wear resistance classes AC3-AC5 for residential and commercial use. Good thermal insulation properties, suitable for underfloor heating.

    Wooden floating floor

    Three-layer wooden flooring, natural wear layer (oak, ash, walnut) on a stabilised core. Can be sanded and renovated. Warm natural appearance, suitable for living rooms and bedrooms.

    Dismantling and preparation of the substrate

    Removal of old carpet, linoleum, PVC or floating floor. Inspection and levelling of the subfloor with self-levelling screed if necessary. We will remove the waste.

    Installation of skirting boards, transition strips and cover profiles. Complete finishing down to the last detail, with us, a job is only finished when it truly is.

§ How the process works

I.

Consultation

We will arrive, take measurements and advise on material selection. We can also recommend a specific collection based on the interior style and intended use.

II.

Dismantling

We remove the existing floor covering and dispose of the waste. We inspect the subfloor for level, moisture content and flatness.

III.

Laying

Floating system with underlayment, vinyl as click-lock. Every row is checked with a spirit level. Edges and corners always fitted with skirting boards.

IV.

Completion

Skirting boards, thresholds, transitions. Order delivered complete: no missing thresholds or absent skirting boards.

FAQ: Installation flooring

Most common questions about laying and selecting flooring in Praha

I.How much does floor laying cost in Praha?+
The labour cost for laying a floating floor starts from 180 Kč/m² for laminate and vinyl, and from 220 Kč/m² for wooden floating floors. Add the material costs, laminate from 200 Kč/m², vinyl from 250 Kč/m², wooden floating floors from 600 Kč/m². Removal of the old floor and waste disposal are included in the laying price. A precise quote will be provided after an on-site consultation.
II.Vinyl, laminate or wooden floating floor: which to choose?+
Vinyl (LVP/SPC): best for water and wear resistance, ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and flats with pets. Laminate: good value for money, pleasant underfoot, suitable for bedrooms and living rooms with normal use. Wooden floating floor: most natural look and feel, can be refinished, but more sensitive to moisture. We are happy to provide personal advice.
III.Is it possible to lay a floating floor over old concrete or an existing floor?+
Yes, provided the subfloor is level (deviation max. 3 mm per 2 m), dry and solid. Vinyl and laminate on underlay can cope with minor unevenness. If the subfloor is undulating, we will level it with self-levelling compound. Existing ceramic or PVC can be covered if secure and level. This is always assessed during the inspection.
IV.Can a floating floor be installed over underfloor heating?+
Yes, but the right material must be selected. Vinyl (SPC) is ideal for underfloor heating, dimensionally stable, maximum temperature up to 27 °C. Laminate is also suitable, provided it has a certification for underfloor heating. Wooden floating floors are sensitive to temperature fluctuations, possible, but with caution. Always inform us that you have underfloor heating, and we will select the appropriate material.
