Every job starts with a free on-site inspection. We assess the wood condition, measure the area, and give you a fixed quote. Prices below are indicative "from" prices - exact quote always in person.

    Floor sanding

    Industrial dust-free sanding of parquet, herringbone and solid wood floors. We remove old varnish, scratches and unevenness down to bare wood. Prepared for new finishing coat.

    Gap filling and repair

    We fill gaps between boards and parquet blocks with colour-matched wood filler. Repair lifted blocks, realign skirting. Result: solid, even, professional floor surface.

I.

Free inspection

We come to you, assess wood thickness and condition, measure the area, recommend the right finish. No obligation, no charge.

II.

Sanding

Dust-free industrial sanding with HEPA vacuum extraction at the source. We remove old varnish, scratches, and unevenness down to live wood.

III.

Gap filling

We fill gaps and cracks with wood-toned filler. Corner sanding. The floor is flat and ready for its new surface.

IV.

Finishing

2-3 coats of varnish or oil. Each coat cures. Result: a floor that will last another 20-30 years with minimal maintenance.

I.How much does floor renovation cost in Prague?+
Full renovation (sanding + gap filling + varnish) starts from 420 CZK/m². Sanding only from 220 CZK/m², varnishing from 230 CZK/m². For a typical 70 m² apartment in good condition, expect approximately 29,000 - 35,000 CZK for a full renovation. Exact quote after our free on-site inspection - condition of wood and chosen finish both affect the final price.
II.Is the sanding really dust-free?+
Our sanders have built-in industrial HEPA vacuum extractors. Dust is captured right at the source - at the sander - before it ever reaches the room air. Corner and edge sanding uses separate vacuumed equipment. "Dust-free" doesn't mean absolute zero, but it's so little that people can stay in the apartment and work. We recommend clearing furniture 1 m from the edges of the room.
III.How soon can I walk on the floor after varnishing?+
With HD varnish: light foot traffic (bare feet) after 8-12 hours, furniture after 5-7 days. With hard wax oil: walking after 24 hours, furniture after 3-4 days. We always give you a specific schedule before starting work.
IV.Can you work with old pre-war parquet?+
Yes, and we love it. Pre-war solid oak or beech parquet (typically 22 mm thick) is often in excellent condition under decades of varnish - and it looks stunning after renovation. We always check for hidden nails with a metal detector before sanding to protect our equipment and your floor.
V.Do you serve all Prague districts?+
Yes - all Prague districts and the immediate surroundings (up to approximately 20 km from Prague). We don't restrict ourselves to any specific part of the city. Larger orders in the wider Prague area are also welcome - we discuss travel costs individually for locations beyond 20 km.
